Chad Germann is an enrolled member of the Mille Lacs Band of Ojibwe Tribe of Minnesota and founder and CEO of Red Circle. Germann was hired by Grand Casino Hinckley in 1998 as the Director of Advertising, where he managed all advertising and media strategy, planning and budgeting. After 3 years as director, Germann left the casino to start a casino marketing agency called Red Circle in 2001. Red Circle is a full-service Native American-owned advertising agency with over 16 years of experience in the hospitality and gaming industries. Red Circle employs more than 50 full time marketing professionals in offices downtown Minneapolis, MN. In 2015, Red Circle was recognized as one of the nation’s fastest-growing private companies by Inc. magazine and one of the "Success Stories of the Year" by Twin Cities Business. In 2008 Germann was one of five people recognized as Change Agent Honorees as part of The 2008 ADCOLOR® Awards, presented by the ADCOLOR® Industry Coalition. The honorees are from notable companies such as Google, Disney, ESPN Media Networks, USA Today, Ogilvy, Saatchi & Saatchi, Campbell-Ewald, Carol H. Williams Advertising, DDB, Denuo and many others. In 2011 Germann was named to the NCAIED’s 40 under 40 honoree’s list.
