Jacob Iosfin is a specialist engineer leading the BC Hydro Generation Engineering Mechanical Turbine and Generator Design Team. He is an industry professional with 40 years of experience in the design and development of turbine equipment for large hydroelectric generating stations. Since joining BC Hydro in 1994, he was involved as a technical lead in a variety of projects and technical studies undertaken by BC Hydro for the expansion and upgrading of hydroelectric power generation facilities in the province of British Columbia. He is a Canadian member of the International Committee on Hydraulic Turbines (IEC TC-4) and a participant of several international review panels and advisory committees of turbine equipment.
