Mark A. Reeves, P.E., G.E. is a senior dam safety engineer with PacifiCorp, an investor owned utility based in Portland and Salt Lake City. Mark has been in the hydro industry for six years specifically implementing PacifiCorp’s dam safety program at the North Umpqua Hydroelectric Project in Southern Oregon. With twenty years of professional civil engineering experience, Mark has previously managed engineering and construction aspects of solid waste landfills and material recovery facilities at Waste Management facilities in Oregon and Alaska and also has regulatory experience from working at the Oregon Department of Environmental Quality. Mark started his engineering career working at a geotechnical consulting firm where he conducted subsurface investigations and performed construction monitoring. Mark holds a M.S. from Portland State University and a B.S. from the University of the Pacific, both in Civil Engineering.
