Sylvain Marier graduated in mechanical engineering from École Polytechnique de Montréal in 2002, received a Master degree in Engineering from the same university in 2006. He joined GE Hydro (now ANDRITZ HYDRO since 2008) in 2006. He was a Hydraulic Design Engineer for 7 years. Sylvain designed several runners, some of which are used as reference throughout the company. Then Sylvain has been promoted as Hydraulic Contract Engineer for 3 years, where he was involved in all the hydraulic related activities of the contracts, from preliminary design to site installation. Now Sylvain occupy the Head of Hydraulic Laboratory position since 2 years.
