Dr Tirthankar Jana, PhD (Polymer Science) and M.Sc. (Chemistry). He has 25 years of research experience in academia as well as industrial R&D related to Biodegradable polymers, Paints & Coating, Insulating varnish etc. He has also 8 years of teaching experience. His current interests of research are in different types of polymer synthesis for coating application, modification of polymers for high performance coating, inorganic – organic nano hybrid composites for advanced coating, emulsification of bituminous material for coating applications etc. Dr Jana has published around 22 research papers in different peer reviewed Journals and is also co-author of a book titled “Biodegradable Polymers Polymer Recycle and Waste Management”. Currently he is senior Research and Development Manager at Berger Paints India Limited, Kolkata.
