Juan Jose Diaz is consultant of the department Markets & Regulation at DNV GL. He has a strong academic background having studied in top ranked business and economic schools focused on the financial and energy sector. Juan Jose Diaz holds a master in Sustainability and Social Innovation and a Master in Economics focused on Energy, Natural Resources and the Environment. At DNV GL, Juan Jose Diaz has been involved in projects focused on renewable auction processes, digitalization through smart meter roll-out and the development of a global energy transition outlook. Previously to DNV GL, he has worked for 4 years at Management Solutions, a Financial and Commodity Risk Consultancy, being involved in various projects concerning regulation assessment and risk management for key financial institutions in Europe and Latin America.
