Dr Richard Zweiler manages Güssing Energy Technologies for more than 10 years. This private, Non-Profit Research institute is owned mainly by him and his wife. Since the beginning Dr. Zweiler was responsible for engineering and R&D for all the facilities, which are currently in operation in Güssing. Between 2003 and 2006 he gathered national and international experience in the oil and gas industry. As Lead Process Engineer for ExxonMobil he was responsible for the connection of new wells to offshore oil-production platforms. When he returned to clean energy he used his experience in technical issues as well as entrepreneurship and innovation management in order to grow the nowadays largest R&D institute in his home county.
