A Senior Scientist with over 15 years of research experience at VTT in the research area of eco-efficient communities. Her expertise covers mainly energy efficient buildings, renewable energy in buildings and communities, and the optimal connection of demand and supply of energy in the communities, especially concerning the renewables, and the related business models. She is the coordinator of STORY project (added value of storage in distribution systems). She has participated in many roles in several national and international projects, e.g. as Coordinator of IntUBE (Intelligent Use of Buildings’ Energy Information) EU project and a Nordic SuccessFamilies (Successful sustainable renovation business for single-family houses) project and a WP Leader in IDEAS EU project (Intelligent NeighbourhooD Energy Allocation & Supervision). She is currently conducting PhD studies related to thermal comfort.
