Manfred Hafner is Consulting Vice-President at Enerdata and Adjunct Professor of international energy at the Johns Hopkins University School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS-Europe) and at Sciences Po Paris School of International Affairs (PSIA). He also coordinates the Energy Scenario and Policy research programme at the Fondazione Eni Enrico Mattei (FEEM), and is an Associate Research Fellow at IEFE (Centre for Research on Energy and Environment Economics and Policy) of Bocconi University as well as at the Euro-Mediterranean Center for Climate Change. Previously, Dr. Hafner was scientific director of the Observatoire Mediterranéen de l’Energie (OME). Dr. Hafner has over his over 30 year professional carrier, extensively consulted on energy and climate issues for governments, international organizations (EC, WB, IEA…) and industry, and has in particular coordinated several major interdisciplinary research projects for the European Commission.
