Carl Clayton MSc, BEng(Hons), IEng, MIET. (E,C&I Engineer, Drax): Carl has over 12 years of industry experience primarily in Glass Manufacturing and Power Generation, working as a Process Control and E,C&I Engineer. Whilst at Drax he has delivered multiple projects improving boiler combustion ranging from combustion critical actuation and instrumentation upgrades, to control system enhancements including the SimSci APC combustion optimisation system. Carl is currently part of a four year project at Drax upgrading the control systems on the Biomass units, with his primary focus being modulating control.
