After an initial work experience in the IT services for financial corporation, Leonardo moved to the energy business growing his IT and market competences in different areas like power transmission and distribution, energy trading and energy related services, e-mobility, power generation, microgrids and renewable integration. Main focus of Leonardo activity is now the improvement of existing distributed control systems and managed processes performance. This is achieved using technologies in the IoT, advanced analytics and process optimization and digitalization area. Leonardo is currently Global Technology Manager, Digital solutions within the Power Generation business unit in ABB.
