Dr Maximilian-Eckart Wernicke is consultant at Frost & Sullivan in Frankfurt am Main. He started his professional career as a junior manager of a joint project of the German Association for Electrical, Electronic & Information Technologies (VDE) and the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF). After his doctoral research on business model conceptualisation he joined Frost & Sullivan as a consultant in the Energy & Environment practice. He is an expert on market development and business modelling of smart and energy efficient building technologies. He holds a Master of Contemporary European Studies form the University of Bath (UK) and a PhD in Economics from the University of Bayreuth (DE).
