Dr. Arthur Heberle is Deputy Vice President of the Department Innovation & New Products at Mitsubishi Hitachi Power Systems Europe, Duisburg/Germany. He studied Chemical Process Engineering at the former Technical University of Karlsruhe, today known as the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology in Germany. He gained professional experience in different functions and positions at the automotive industry and power industry such as former Hitachi Power Europe and now Mitsubishi Hitachi Power Systems Europe as well as member in scientific advisory board of the IUTA, as Network Technology co-chair of the Zero Emission Platform (ZEP) and as lead of the German Energy Storage Association (BVES) working group “Power-to-X” He is an expert in carbon capture and utilization technology, energy technology, energy storage, chemical and thermal process engineering.
