Jochen Hauff is Head of Energy Industry, Policy & Organisation of BayWa r.e. renewable energy GmbH, a Munich-based, international renewable energy holding company with a broad range of activities in wind, solar and bioenergy markets. During 2015, he was also in charge of the re-positioning of BayWa r.e.’s activities in the German solar wholesale sector. He thus served as Managing Director of BayWa r.e. Solar Energy Systems, a daughter company of BayWa r.e. focused on the wholesale of photovoltaic system components such as modules, inverters and solar batteries to installers in the German market. Prior to joining BayWa r.e. at the beginning of 2015, Jochen Hauff was for 14 years a management consultant with A.T. Kearney, where he last held the position as Director Renewable Energy & Sustainability and advised key energy sector players worldwide on renewable energy strategies and new business models.
