Gretchen Kowalik has been working with MRG Laboratories since 2013 and is the Quality Program Manager. Gretchen has a B.S. in Conservation biology and a M.S. in Biology from Florida Atlantic University. At MRG, she works in the laboratory analyzing grease and oil samples and ensures MRG Laboratories is following current quality procedures and practices. Her background in biology has proven useful with the implementation of a new method of testing for microbes in grease and oil. In addition, Gretchen has helped develop course curriculum for both Level I and Level II Laboratory Lubricant Analyst courses. She is trained in analytical ferrography, root cause analysis and as an internal auditor. Gretchen is a member of the American Society of Testing and Materials (ASTM) and is certified by the International Council for Machinery Lubrication (ICML) as a Level I Machine Lubrication Analyst and a Level II Laboratory Lubricant Analyst.
