David Mader is the Chief Strategy Officer for the Civilian Sector of Deloitte Federal Consulting. He is the former Controller at OMB. He was nominated by President Obama and confirmed by the U.S. Senate in 2014. In 2015, President Obama designated him as OMB Acting Deputy Director for Management for 6 months. Mr. Mader also held various senior executive positions at the IRS from 1971 to 2003.
