Amanda L. Green, MPA, CGFM, has been an active member of AGA and a CGFM for more than 20 years and has served in various leadership roles as a member of the New Orleans Chapter Executive Committee (community service, education, president-elect, president, and immediate past president). During her tenure as Chapter President, Ms. Green led her chapter to platinum level award recognition. On a regional level, Amanda served as Regional Coordinator for Education from 2010 – 2015, and was honored to receive and accept the Regional Coordinator Award in 2015. She is currently serving as the Regional Vice President for the Gulf Region (Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, and Florida) assisting nine active chapters in the realization of their goals and increasing the membership and visibility of the Gulf Region. Ms. Green served the citizens of Louisiana for more than 30 years – first in the Municipal Facilities Division of the Louisiana Department of Environmental Quality before moving to the University of New Orleans as Budget Development Coordinator and later as Business Manager of the College of Sciences. Locally, Amanda serves on the Board of Governors of the Women’s Guild of the New Orleans Opera Association and also as a member of the New Orleans Vocal Arts Chorale. Ms. Green holds a BA in Management from Southeastern Louisiana University and an MPA from the University of New Orleans.
