Susan Scott, a Supervisory Financial Systems Analyst for the Department of the Interior (DOI) Interior Business Center (IBC), was promoted to the Chief of the Finance and Procurement Systems Division in August 2014. In this position, Susan is responsible for all system support to non-DOI federal agencies. Prior to this assignment, Ms. Scott was the Supervisor of the Subsidiary Systems Section that included eTravel, Charge Card and Quarters teams. The eTravel team provides implementation, operations and maintenance support for DOI’s Office of the Secretary (OS), Office of Special Trustee (OST), and Interior Business Center (IBC) Concur users; as well as eleven external clients using E2Solutions and Concur (soon to be twelve). The DOI Charge Card Support Center (CCSC) provides departmental oversight and support for all DOI Bureaus. Charge Card management is also sold as a service to non-DOI clients. The DOI Quarters team provides departmental oversight and support for all DOI Bureaus using the standard Quarters application for costing and collecting rent for DOI owned housing. In addition, this system is used by thirteen non-DOI clients. Ms. Scott supported the Financial and Business Management System (FBMS) Operations & Maintenance (O&M) and subsequently worked as the Finance Functional Lead, Integration Manager, Catch-Up Manager and Production Support Lead in the OS Deployment 6. She has worked in the Federal government Accounting, Finance and System’s arena for over 40 years. Prior to employment at IBC, Susan was a Systems Accountant at the Department of Defense (DOD) and a member of the United States Air Force for over eighteen years. Susan received her Associates Degree in Financial Management while in the U. S. Air Force.
