Reginald W. Mitchell has served as the Chief Financial Officer of the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) since March 2014, where he is responsible for the worldwide oversight and development of USAID’s financial management policies, programs, and systems. This includes directing activities and executing Agency resources totaling over 9000 in staff and an approximately $30 billion-dollar financial portfolio. His leadership in forging historic partnerships with the Government Accountability Office and the International Monetary Fund are two of the notable accomplishments that resulted in Mr. Mitchell receiving AGA's International Achievement Award in 2016. Mr. Mitchell's federal service also includes 26 years at the Nuclear Regulatory Commission, as well as active duty in the United States Navy on nuclear submarines. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management from National-Louis University and a Master of Public Administration from American University.
