Luca Spelgatti has 8+ years of experience designing and developing various embedded systems. Presently with STMicroelectronics, he supports the STM32 family of ARM® Cortex®-M based microcontrollers and he's also STM32 Microcontroller Audio expert for the US Region;He is involved in all the STM32 Audio designs providing expertise to US customer, other STM32 Field Application Engineers and providing feedbacks to the microcontroller division in Europe for the definition of new peripheral dedicated to Audio. He moved in US two and a half years ago as Field Application engineer after 5+ years in STMicroelectronics Advanced System Technology group working on the development of different embedded audio algorithms based on digital MEMS microphones (Beamforming, Source Localization, and Acoustic Echo Cancellation, PDM to PCM filtering and microphone acquisition).He holds a B.S. and a M.S. in Computer engineering from the University of Bergamo, Italy.
