Craig Weinschenk PhD
UL Firefighter Safety Research Institute (UL FSRI)
Craig is a Research Engineer with UL's Fire Safety Research Institute (FSRI). He holds a Ph.D in Mechanical Engineering from The University of Texas-Austin where he characterized the impact of forced ventilation on room-scale fires. Currently, he conducts full-scale, live-fire experiments to characterize both fire dynamics and firefighter tactics. Craig also uses computer models to study fires that have resulted in firefighter line-of-duty deaths and injuries.
