Phil Nevels is Director for Exelon Utilities new Utility of the Future organization. In this role, Phil is responsible for identifying, evaluating and prioritizing potential investments in operating, information and customer-side technology consistent with the Company’s Utility of the Future strategic plan. He is also responsible for assessing those technologies to determine feasibility, availability, economics, market potential and customer receptivity. The Utility of the Future organization is tasked with exploring and facilitating Exelon’s transition into the future. Prior to his role at Exelon, Phil has been involved in a number of entrepreneurial ventures, including his role as COO/Co-founder of Power2Switch, a company he started in 2009 to help residential and small commercial customers take advantage of energy deregulation. Phil holds an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Princeton University.
