Ronald B. Sterling, CPA, MBA, a HIMSS Book of the Year Award winner, has authored eight books on healthcare information technology including the Non-Fee-for-Service Revenue Cycle Management: Managing Patient Service and Clinical Performance to Maximize Profit from Greenbranch Publishing in 2017. Ron is a nationally recognized thought leader on the selection and implementation of electronic health record (EHR) and practice management systems. He is an independent consultant and has worked with a wide array of practices, clinics, and healthcare organizations across the country. Ron has authored over 250 articles on healthcare information technology and serves on the faculty of the Medscape Physician Business Academy. He frequently speaks on capitalizing on healthcare information technology to improve patient service and financial performance for a wide array of organizations including ADAM, and AAOE. Ron offers high impact ideas and valuable insights based on reviewing electronic health record and medical billing management systems from dozens of vendors in a variety of clinical situations for primary care and specialty groups.
