Eric Nette has worked for NFPA since 2014. He is responsible for managing eleven different technical committees that manage eighteen different documents. These documents include, but are not limited to, topics such as LP-Gas, chimneys, ovens, flash fire protective garments, nuclear fire protection, fluid heaters, and electrical classification of hazardous areas. He posses a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from Rowan University and a Master of Science degree in Fire Protection Engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute (WPI). Mr. Nette completed the Boston Marathon in 2016 for the local charity The Last Call Foundation.
