Founder Trustee and Director General of the apex Industry body - Indian Auto LPG Coalition (IAC), Mr. Gupta is an entrepreneur and author of the book, India's Turn, which has been included in the Indian National Parliament Library. Mr. Gupta is a member of apex committees of Union Ministry of Road Transport & Highways, Government of India, being a member of Standing Committee on Emission Legislation (SCoE) & Central Motor Vehicle Rules (Technical Standing Committee) (CMVR-TSC). Mr. Gupta is an active member of CII’s National Committee on Hydrocarbons, Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce & Industry (FICCI)’s National Taskforce on ‘Future of Mobility’ and a member of Energy Committee of PHD Chambers of Commerce & Industry and BIS TED 26. Mr. Gupta has a Bachelor’s of Business Administration with an Executive Programme in Public Policy in India from The Indian School of Business (ISB). He has been very closely associated with the Indian petroleum industry since 1993, and is an entrepreneur with interests in the several areas of the LPG business, including the LPG Marine Outboard Engines. He is a founding member of the Autogas Focus Group of the World LPG Association. In his role at the Indian Autogas industry body, Mr. Gupta has authored several articles and travelled extensively to promote the usage of cleaner fuels in automobiles.
