Vinh Quang Nguyen is a Senior Engineer and a Market Operator at National Load Dispatch Centre of Vietnam. His work currently focuses on day-ahead market and hourly scheduling in Vietnam Competitive Generation Market (VCGM). He has achieved deep understanding about Vietnam power market with over 10 years of experience. He masters the transaction operation of VCGM from day-ahead to hour-ahead, as well as the settlement process in power market. He contributed to the Market Rule and the Procedures making, participated in the process of building IT Infrastructure for power market operation and preparing for the next stage of Vietnam Wholesale Electricity Market. Vinh Quang Nguyen earned a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering and Information Technology from the Otto von Guericke University Magdeburg Germany.
