Dr. Qiang Liu is the Co-chair and Secretary-General of Global Forum on Energy Security based at Beijing, China. He works for Chinese Academy of Social Sciences since 2004, has been the Director of Energy Economics Division, Institute of Quantitative & Technical Economics at Chinese Academy of Social Sciences (CASS) since 2014. He is consulting expert for United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (UNESCAP) on energy and Belt & Road Initiative, and member of Belt & Road Initiative Energy Club Expert Group.
