Susan Peterson-Sturm is an industrial controls leader with 15 years’ experience working with energy companies to securely and efficiently scale digital solutions for the industrial enterprise. She is the Digital Lead for ABB’s Power Generation & Water business, where she develops, manages and drives digital industrial solutions. Prior to joining ABB, Susan spent 10 years in various roles at GE developing, launching and operating software and security solution product lines. Susan began her career working in both regulated and independent power generation companies in the US, Europe and Latin America in finance, operations and trading capacities. She has been an active voice in industrial controls regulatory and standards development as a member of ISA 99 Work Group 6 and the Industrial Control Systems Joint Working Group’s (ICJWG) Roadmap to Secure Industrial Control Systems Sub Group. Susan is a member of the Women’s Energy Network and Women in Technology International.
