Dipl.-Ing. Dipl.-Kfm. Markus Lachner graduated in energy and process engineering from Leibniz Universität Hannover, Germany. He started his career at the Leibniz Universität Hannover working for research projects, while graduating in business administration at the FernUniversität in Hagen, Germany. His first tasks within Siemens AG were in marketing departments for steam turbines and generators at multiple locations. Since 2010 Markus Lachner is product manager in Muelheim an der Ruhr, Germany. He focuses on service solutions for steam turbines in combined cycle power plants. These solutions include aspects like long term service agreements, predictive maintenance and inspection technologies, modernizations and life time extensions including repair, field service and parts.
