Starting with Siemens Power Generation in 1995 as a gas turbine fact finder gave me at an early stage of my career the chance to work worldwide with interdisciplinary and multicultural teams and to interface directly with power plant customers. Later I shared my experience in Service Engineering, supporting forced outage management, field issue resolution and root cause investigations, regular outage preparations and introduction of new developments into the service fleet. In 2007 I joined the department of Mods and Upgrades Marketing, driving the development of new M&U products through the R&D process and leading M&U negotiations for mature V-frames. As the new 2000E Service Frame Owner, effective July 1st. 2016 I drive the future development of all V-fleet mature frames with innovative products, cost optimized maintenance, flexible services and increased customer satisfaction. I am responsible for a fleet of more than 400 gas turbines globally.
