Brian Rodriguez is the Director of Business Development and Strategy for Raytheon’s Protected Communication Systems Organization, a Product Line in the Integrated Communication Systems Mission Area within the Space and Airborne Systems Business. He leads new business activities and strategy development for Satellite Communications capabilities that include AEHF and WGS terminal technologies and programs such as the Navy Multi-band terminal, Family of Airborne Terminals, Global Aircrew Strategic Network Terminal, Secure Mobile Anti-Jam Reliable Tactical Terminal as well as emerging protected tactical SATCOM and data link technologies and capabilities for contested and denied environments. Mr. Rodriguez has 36 years in defense systems development, manufacture and deployment, including international sales, with a focus on Satellite Communications and Radar. Rodriguez is a customer focused innovative leader with demonstrated skills to develop and execute projects. He has an engineering and program management background with experience in all phases of complex small to large-scale programs including; development, operations management, technology programs, production transition and product/systems lifecycle management. Previously, Rodriguez was a Director for the Civil Communications Solutions business area. As part of that team, Rodriguez and the team built a new business area to address Public Safety and Homeland Security needs for state, local and federal users. Prior to this assignment, Mr. Rodriguez served within Raytheon as the Director of the Naval Satellite Communications Programs. Brian’s success in this role was demonstrated by a satisfied customer and the doubling Raytheon’s Navy SATCOM business. He came to Raytheon from Hughes Aircraft Company where he was a leader developing and deploying airborne radars to the US Air Force and Navy.
