A senior science and technology manager for the U.S. Army, Daniel Duvak is the Assistant Director of Network and Communications at the C5ISR Center at Aberdeen Proving Ground (APG), MD. He leads the research, development and engineering of tactical communications, satellite systems, networking, and cybersecurity. In his capacity as the principal technical advisor to DEVCOM, Mr. Duvak shapes the future of the Army's tactical networks. His expertise in antennas, radios, electromagnetics, and systems engineering is built on over a decade of technical and managerial roles. His distinguished career is highlighted by multiple Commander’s Awards for civilian service, the U.S. Army’s Greatest Invention Award, and recognition as CERDEC Employee of the Year. Mr. Duvak holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Virginia Tech, as well as Master of Engineering degrees in both Electrical Engineering and Systems Engineering from Stevens Institute of Technology.
