John Schleifer joined By Light in 2016 after 33 years of expertise in global cyber operations, intelligence operations, technology integration, communications systems management, resource management and training. John is a retired Army Signal Colonel with extensive senior level Joint and Army Staff experience. He has commanded Brigade and Battalion level Signal forces in Iraq and Afghanistan. He most recently served at DISA as the Commander of the Joint Staff Support Center and was also the Director of Operations (J3) of Joint Task Force – Global Network Operations during the establishment of USCYBERCOM as a Sub-unified Command of USTRATCOM.
