Sylvan Tran is a member of Aetna's Global Security Innovation team where he serves as a Security Advisor designing and deploying the company's strategic Next Generation Authentication platform. Sylvan's extensive real world, enterprise scale security platform integration expertise helps bring innovative authentication technology out of the labs and into ubiquitous use. He is also an editor of the ITU-T X.1254 Entity Authentication Assurance Framework, a workgroup of the International Telecommunication Union which in turn is an agency of the United Nations.
Sylvan draws his nineteen years of experience from many diverse industries such as internet service provider, internet gaming, financial institutions and healthcare. Roles where he honed his skills include Systems Administrator, Systems Engineer, Information Security and Information Security R&D. He is also a consummate inventor with a variety of patents under his name including one for Neural Authentication and another for neural based Cryptographic Key Pair Generation.
