Lieutenant Colonel Eric Davis was born in Florence, South Carolina. He is married to Dianna Davis for 17 years, and they have two girls, Abigail, 12, and Chloe, 11. LTC Davis graduated from the United States Military Academy in 1998 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science, and he was subsequently commissioned as a Second Lieutenant in the US Army Signal Corps. In July 2015, LTC Davis was selected to transfer to the US Army Cyber Branch. During his career, LTC Davis served as a Signal Platoon Leader, Signal Company Executive Office, Signal Brigade Automations Officer, Headquarters and Headquarters Detachment Commander, 1st Cavalry Division Information Assurance Manager, 1st Cavalry Division Deputy G6, and 2D IO Battalion S3. He participated in Operation Iraqi Freedom on three separate deployments, and deployed to Croatia in support of Bosnia SFOR (TF Rijeka). LTC Davis has been assigned to the following units: 7th Signal Brigade in Mannheim Germany, 11th Signal Brigade at FT Huachuca, 1st Cavalry Division at FT Hood, 1st Information Operations Command at FT Belvoir, and is currently assigned to the US Army Cyber Protection Brigade at FT Gordon. LTC Davis’s military and civilian education includes the US Army Airborne School, Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the United States Military Academy, Signal Corps Officer Basic Course (SOBC), Signal Corps Captain’s Career Course (SCCC), Combined Armed Service Staff School (CAS3), Information Systems Operations Leveler (ISOL) and Information Systems Management (ISM) courses (FA 53), Intermediate Level Education (CGSC), a multitude of industry training and certification courses, and a Master of Science in Information Security and Assurance from George Mason University. LTC Davis exceeded courses expectations by graduating in the top of his class from SCCC, ISOL/ISM, and ILE.
