Army Project Officer Enterprise Email (PO EE)



Mr. Donald R. Greenlee Jr assumed the role of Project Officer for Enterprise Email (PO EE) in January 2016. The mission of PO EE is to provide over 1.5 million Army users with state-of-the-art messaging, both classified and unclassified, that allows access to email from any location, a complete global address list, calendar sharing/ management, and improved messaging security posture across the enterprise. Previously, Mr. Greenlee was Deputy Project Officer for Enterprise Email (PO EE) from February 2012 to January 2016. The Product Directorate Enterprise Email was formed in February 2012 in direct response to the National Defense Authorization Act (NDSS) 353 which required the Army to appoint a Product Director to oversee the Enterprise Email project. Mr. Greenlee started his civilian career in October 2009 where he served as the first Assistant Product Manager, Army Enterprise Service Desk for Product Manager, Power Projection Enablers (PM P2E), from October 2009 to February 2012. During his tenure, he transitioned the AKO Service Desk to the Army Enterprise Service Desk (AESD) and fielded the AESD to approximately 21 Network Enterprise Centers supporting 7th Signal Command. AESD greatly improved Tier 1 level Enterprise Service support across the entire Army. Mr Donald R Greenlee Jr also serves as a LTC in the US Army Reserves. His military career started when he enlisted in the Army in March 1983 and served 3 years on active duty in the Army as a 31M Multichannel Communications. In August 1986 after being discharged from Active Duty as a Sergeant, he enrolled in the University of South Alabama. In June 1988, he was commissioned as a 2nd Lieutenant in the Signal Corps under the early commissioning program from the Reserve Officer Training Corps at University of South Alabama. He is currently assigned as a LTC in the 3rd Medical Deployment Support Command where he is serving as the G6.
