Steve Barnes, Director of Science and Compliance at AquaStar Pool Products, embodies unparalleled expertise in pool safety and energy efficiency. As the founding chair of the ANSI/APSP/ICC-15 Standard and the current Chair of the VGBA-2017 Standard Writing Committee, Steve's extensive involvement in developing critical industry standards showcases his deep commitment to advancing pool system technology and safety nationwide. His leadership and innovative approaches continue to shape the future of pool system management and compliance. Bryan Chrissan has an extensive background with over two decades in the swimming pool industry, starting with operating his successful pool service and repair company in Southern California. His comprehensive understanding spans from technical operations to customer relationships. Bryan has served on the boards of both the APSP Southern California chapter and IPSSA, and holds credentials as an NSPF Certified Pool Operator and Instructor. Known for his dynamic presence at industry trade shows and technical training sessions, he also contributes regularly to industry publications. In 2015, Bryan joined Hayward Pool Products as the Western U.S. Product Application Specialist, focusing on Omni Automation systems. Now based in Celina, Texas, he serves as the National Technical Sales Manager for AquaStar Pool Products since July 2023, where he continues to share his passion for the industry, emphasizing education and the importance of strong professional relationships.
