Sister Ida Know




Sister Ida found the community in 2007 and within 6 months knew she had to join the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence. Working in the local community, Sister Ida was active with her sponsors during the Prop 8 protests being very touched by the people of the community and how spreading joy was more important than fear or hate. She has been active in many facets of the community, including the leather community, The Imperial Court, The Rodeo, but has been most active helping at San Diego's only weekly fundraiser named "Tiger's Pictionary," a game night that raises donations for several community service organizations in the local San Diego Community. Getting to know more about what Sister Ida is as simple as walking up and having a conversation with her. "Always remember to spread Joy."
