Abel Silvas




Mr. Silvas was recently hired by the Smithsonian Institution to perform at The National Museum of the American Indian in New York, focusing on “Celebrating California and The Great Basin” He is a Fullbright-Hays Scholar who has traveled to India, Mexico, Chile and the United States teaching about Native American history. His lifelong community involvement includes the Annual San Diego Grunion Festivals. Currently, he tours his original one-man show “Running Grunion” based on California history.
