Dr. Willard Wells




Willard Wells holds a Ph.D. in theoretical physics from Caltech with a minor in math. Richard Feynman was his faculty mentor. For most of his career, Wells was chief scientist at Tetra Tech, an engineering firm. While at Caltech’s Jet Propulsion Labs he co-invented the 'yo-yo de-spin mechanism'; Wikipedia/ Yo-yo de-spin.
