Patrick holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry and has 41 year of experience hazardous materials regulations and emergency response, tank cars, and railroad operations. He retired from Union Pacific as Director, Hazardous Materials with responsibility of hazardous materials regulatory compliance, operational train make-up and power requirements. Patrick was a member and Past Chairman of the AAR Hazardous Materials Committee and Tank Car Committee.
