Dr. Kok-Mun Ng’s research interests include multicultural and cross-cultural issues in counseling;? attachment theory;? emotional intelligence and well-being;? post-modern counseling approaches;? internationalization of counseling training and practice;? and couples, marriage, and family issues. He has published many articles in national and international journals and is actively engaged in community and professional services domestically and internationally. Dr. Ng served a 3-year term on the Board of Directors of the National Board for Certified Counselors (NBCC) and four years as a member of the NBCC-International Advisory Council. Dr. Ng is currently serving a 5-year term on the CACREP Board of Directors that began in July 2013. Dr. Ng regularly conducts counseling training workshops in Malaysia, China, and Turkey. He has a strong interest in serving the resettled refugee community.
