Ruth O. Moore, Ph.D., NCC, LPC is a Distance Clinical Professor in the Department of Counseling and Special Populations at Lamar University. She is a Licensed Professional Counselor and National Certified Counselor with 20 years experience in the field. She has presented nationally and internationally in the areas of abuse/trauma, play therapy, high-conflict divorce/parental alienation, expert witness/courtroom testimony, bullying, and creative counseling techniques. Dr. Moore has published in peer-reviewed journals and professional publications. She is frequently called to serve as an expert witness in criminal, chancery, and youth court for her involvement in child abuse and child custody cases.
