As a Senior Advisor to the Under Secretary of Defense, Morgan provides strategic military advice and counsel on a broad range of defense policy issues and current operations, with a particular focus on Personnel and Readiness. Mr. Plummer most recently advised on the development of the strategic DoD wide program “Force of the Future. Morgan joined the Department of Defense after having served in a variety of capacities in the US Army including Assistant to the Executive Officer, Operations Officer, Company Commander, and Foreign Military Advisor. During his time in the Army, Morgan led multiple military operations in Iraq and oversaw the execution of critical humanitarian, infrastructure improvement, and capacity building projects. Morgan has a B.A. in Criminal Justice / Law Enforcement Administration from Michigan State University and an MA in Public Policy from Georgetown University.
