Michelle Sager is a Director in the U.S. Government Accountability Office (GAO) Strategic Issues team. Her current portfolio includes crosscutting intergovernmental and collaborative governance issues. Her prior experience includes positions as the Director of Economic Opportunity at the National Governors Association Center for Best Practices, as an adjunct faculty member at Johns Hopkins University and George Mason University, and as legislative staff in the Missouri House of Representatives and in the U.S. House of Representatives. Ms. Sager holds a Ph.D. in Public Policy and M.A. in International Commerce and Policy in addition to a B.A. in Communications and Political Science.
