Ms. Kimberly Tribou worked in federal accounting for nearly ten years prior to returning to academia for her doctoral degree. In her various roles, Kimberly supported the Indian Trust Fund reconciliation effort of the Department of the Interior; conducted performance audits, Recovery Act grant audits, and helped to monitor the Department of Energy’s annual financial statement audit; and assisted in the review of internal controls for various federal agencies as a manager at TFC Consulting, an 8a certified CPA firm providing audit, accounting and advisory services to federal agencies. Kimberly is currently a doctoral student at Texas Tech University in Lubbock, Texas. Her research interests include government contracting, government auditing, risk management, and political uncertainty. Kimberly earned her bachelor’s degree in accounting from McMurry University (Abilene, Texas) and her Masters of Business Administration from the University of New Mexico (Albuquerque, New Mexico).
