Allan Marzen is a Managing Director for White Oak Global Advisors, LLC focusing on originating and underwriting new investment opportunities for White Oak’s private debt funds. Marzen is responsible for structuring senior and second lien lending products, including unitranche, cash flow and asset-based credit facilities with committed capital ranging between $10 million and $100 million. Marzen, who started his career as a Certified Public Accountant with Deloitte and Touche, has nearly 20 years of experience in banking and commercial finance. He has extensive lending expertise in both asset-based and enterprise value cash flow lending with previous stints at Wells Fargo Capital Finance, AloStar Business Credit, First Niagara Commercial Finance, Golub Capital, CapitalSource Finance, CIT Financial and Fleet Capital Corp. A familiar face in both national and New York-area lending communities, he has secured financing from an extensive network of interested parties including private equity groups, investment bankers, financial intermediaries, lawyers, consultants, accountants and other industry professionals. He also has extensive experience in business operations and management evaluation. A graduate of George Mason University, Marzen received his Bachelor of Science with a double major in Accounting and Finance. He lives in New York City and is an active member of Opus Connect, the Commercial Finance Association, the Turnaround Management Association and the Association for Corporate Growth, among others.
