Mr. Smith, Vice President of Development, is an industry veteran with over 30 years of experience managing the development of technology hardware and software products and solutions, and professional services. He also served as Chief Technology Officer for the National Captioning Institute, and President and Chief Operating Officer for ULTECH Corporation, a broadcast technology company he founded in 1991, which was acquired by NCI in 2002. Previously, Mr. Smith was an Applications Engineer and Technical Services Manager for ITT Semiconductors where he was responsible for the design and development of integrated circuits. Mr. Smith holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree from the University of Lowell, and a Masters of Software Engineering degree from Brandeis University.
