The business of "fun" and “adventure” are passions for Michelle Kapuscinski. She started her career in the family recreation industry as a ski instructor during college. It was soon clear that the recreation industry was home. From there, Michelle worked at several ski resorts across the country honing her skills in Marketing, until finding a home at Scandia Amusement Park in Ontario, Ca as the Marking Director. That position provided much growth and learning of the FEC Business, so when the opportunity for ownership of her own facility became available, she was well ready. For the last 14 years Michelle has been the owner and President of Fiesta Village Family Fun Park, a 10 acre park in Colton, California known for its great service, exceptional value and charming ambiance. She is also a partner in Mountain High Resort in Wrightwood, the largest ski and snowboard resort in Southern California, and more recently, Stevens Pass in Washington State. Michelle supports many charitable and community initiatives and has served on the Board of Directors for IALEI, as well as the Executive Board of both the Colton Chamber of Commerce and the California Small Business Association. She has enjoyed volunteering for IAAPA as well, serving as a member of IAAPA’s FEC Committee, Education Committee, a Board Member and an Executive Board Member. Michelle was honored as Small Business Owner of the Year by her State Assemblyman, Business Partner of the Year by the Colton Chamber of Commerce, and has received numerous other recognitions by her County Supervisor, State Senator, and State Congressman. In her spare time she enjoys snowboarding, golf, traveling and loves to exercise and practice yoga.
