Mr. Rimmer assumed his current position as the Director of Security for SeaWorld Parks and Entertainment, Orlando in October 2013. In this position he is charged with providing a safe and secure environment for millions of annual visitors, thousands of team members and animals for the three properties and the corporate headquarters located in Orlando. Mr. Rimmer was a career Army Noncommissioned Officer, retiring in 2001 as a Command Sergeant Major. His final military assignment was as the Military Police Regimental Command Sergeant Major. In this role, he served as the senior enlisted leader for the Commandant (General Officer) and Chief of Military Police, leading a branch of the Army comprised of approximately 45,000 law enforcement specialists, corrections professionals and criminal investigators. Mr. Rimmer has over three decades of executive leadership experience in both military and corporate operations, leading multimillion dollar organizations of several thousand personnel in high intensity threat environments internationally and domestically. Other key positions in which Mr. Rimmer served were as the Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Officer for G4S Nuclear Security Services Company in Chicago, Corporate Director of Security for Six Flags Entertainment in NYC; Director of Global Security Systems for the Walt Disney Company in Burbank, CA and Senior Operations Manager for all security operations at The Disneyland Resort, Anaheim, CA. He has received advanced training in Counter Surveillance, Threat Assessment, Workplace Violence and Threat Management, was POST certified in Georgia and Florida and Graduated from the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center (FLETC) Criminal Investigators Course. Mr. Rimmer was selected as an “Outstanding Young American” in 1988 and was only the 50th inductee into the Military Police Hall of Fame in 2008. Mr. Rimmer has been married for over thirty five years to Lee and has two daughters and two grandsons.
